"A Groundhog's Day" Limited Edition Cel This cel was taken from an original drawing by Robert McKimson. The drawing was inspired from the original artwork used in the 1947 cartoon, "One Meat Brawl", directed by Robert McKimson. Each cel in this edition has been hand inked, hand painted. Features a lithograph background and bears the offical Robert McKimson Studio seal attesting to its limited edition status. This cel is numbered SP1 of 10. Robert McKimson was one of the major directors of Warner Bros. Golden Era of Animation during the 1940's and 1950's. During this time, he created some of the world's most popular characters including the Tasmanian Devil, Foghorn Leghorn, Speedy Gonzales, and Sylvester Jr. During McKinsom's celebrated career in animation, he directed 175 classic Warner Bros. cartoons.
